The Tanzania Researcher's Marathon is a national fundraising and public-engagement event that mobilises Tanzanians, institutions, partners and the diaspora to fund research grants and mentorship for early-career researchers. Organised by Tanzania Monitoring, Evaluation and Consultancy Centre (TanMECC), it directs net proceeds to the Tanzania Early-Career Research Fund, supporting Tanzania Development Vision 2050's call for stronger research, innovation and human-capital investment.
